Effective design should enlist the senses of sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. It should poke us in our squishy emotional core. It should educate and cause a cacophony of chaos in our routine minds, disrupt our everyday with purpose, meaning and intent. It should be unafraid to change, to evolve, to grow grey hairs and age with grace. And it should all be built on a foundation of flint sharpened skill and analytical understanding, with the will to learn how to do it better still.
Two minds; an accumulation of knowledge, experience, traumatic memories—moulded together with a love of the influential, evolving, volatile and wonderfully unstable world of the designer. We’ve honed our practice through the years, from the studios and agencies, to the individuals and personal projects. Picking up the new tech, learning how to push the programs, developing principles of layout and form, educating the eye and refining the mind.
